Communities

Communities page is a centralization of the public and private communities inside your company. Here you will be able to see the communities you are part of, but also the public communities inside your company that you can join.

In this interface, through the top menu you will have access to 3 modals:

1. Active communities

Here you will be able to see "Your communities" and "Other communities". "Your communities" represents all the communities you are part of, public or private, and "Other communities represents the public communities you can join. In this modal, you will be able to:

  • verify which are the members of a community and the posts inside the respective community- press "See community";

  • search a specific community using the search bar on the right corner;

  • create a community;

  • add a new post.

To create a community

  • press the button "Create community" located on the right corner;

  • add a name in the defined field;

  • choose the community members;

  • add a description of the community (optional);

  • decide whether the community will be public or private;

  • press the button "Create community".

To add a new post:

  • search the community you want to post in;

  • press the button "See community";

  • press the button "New post";

  • add a description;

  • choose one of the options "Picture", "Event" or "Poll";

  • press "Post".

If you are the admin of the community you want to post in, from this modal you will also be able to add or remove members from the community.

  • To add members to a community, from the "See community" interface navigate to the box on the right, press "Add members", select the members you want to add and confirm.

  • To remove members from a community, from the "See community" interface navigate to the box on the right and next to the name of the member you want to remove press on the 3 dots shown, then press "Remove from community" and confirm the removal.

To leave a community, from the "See community" interface, navigate to the box on the right and press the button "Leave". If you are the admin of the community you want to leave, you will have to select another admin of the community before leaving.

From the same box on the right, from the "See community" interface you will have access to certain settings regarding the selected community. In order to see these settings, press the settings symbol from the top right corner. These settings are:

  • Edit- allows you to modify the name of the community, the description of the community, but also of the visibility

  • Archive- allows you to archive a community

  • Change admin- allows you to change the admin of the community

2. Archived communities

Here you will be able to see your archived communities. To unarchive a community press "Unarchive", and the community will be shown again in the "Active communities" modal.

3. Requests

Here you will be able to see all the communities you sent a request to join, but the request was not approved up until that moment.
