Setting a new role for users

Before proceeding with the steps below, ensure you have the necessary permissions to manage users in your Papervee workspace. The Owner user and HR Manager users with access to company settings can manage other users.

Whether you wish to convert an employee to an HR Manager or vice versa, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Account Administration" area by clicking the navigation button in the top-right corner and pressing "Account Administration".

  2. Go to the "Users" section from the top menu.

  3. Click on the "pencil" icon next to the user whose role you want to change.

  4. Select the new role.

  5. To complete, press the "Save" button.

In case the new role is that of an HR Manager, you will also need to select the permissions you wish to assign to them. Read more about the HR Manager role and available permissions here!
